Spay/Neuter - Details and ProgramsUnless you intend to breed your Rottweiler, and there are several factors to consider before breeding, then the decision to spay/neuter removes the fear of unwanted puppies and the possibility of them later falling into the wrong hands. There are documented health benefits to be gained and many vets are also willing to assist towards the costs by offering discounted programs. On this page we will list various programs as we come across them - if you are aware of any other programs please feel free to contribute them - send details in an email The SNAP (Spay Neuter All Pets) Program SNAP partners with over 200 veterinary hospitals offering
low-cost spay neuter services. Some restrictions do apply (such as office
visits, vaccinations, pets that are over 50#, or those in heat or pregnant.).
A potential client would have to call the hospital and ask what restrictions
may apply. We also work with several rescue groups who wish to
purchase a block of certificates to be used when pets are adopted, or
for use by the organization before adoptions. Should you need further
information on our program, you can e-mail
or call me at (302) 838-6996.
