Mesa, Az 85213

I've been taking my animals to him for about 8 years now.. since we moved to this area.  He's wonderful, as are the other doctors in his practice and his staff.  When I call and say my name, the girls in the front office start going down the list of animals.  'Are we seeing ....?'. No.  'Are we seeing .....?'  No.  And down through the list. LOL  They LOVE my Rotties and ask about each one every time I bring one of them in.
CALIFORNIA
Dana Bleifer,
20530 Victory Blvd. Woodland Hills, CA (818)710-8528
Dana raises and shows Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and is wonderful with my Rotties. She is also a specialist in reproductive system problems, and head of Clone West, a company that does sperm collections and AI.

Dr. Stern,
Five Star Veterinary Clinic,
Sylmar, CA
Tel: (818)362-6599

Dr. Stern does OFA X-rays without anesthesia, plus is a very good vet for regular stuff. He has treated my dogs for broken toes, hot spots, etc., and I really like him. He does the X-rays with just one woman assistant, and never has a problem. Plus, he is open on Sundays! A friend of mine had 2-week-old puppies with The runnies on a Sunday, and he took her right in, did a culture and gave her medication, all without an appointment.

He has a special area of his heart for my Zeus, a 12 week old rott, and I would love to give him the credit he deserves.

MASSACHUSETTS Dr. William C. Truesdale,

Tel: 508-761-8525 or 508-761-6920
Very easy to talk to. Does not rush you in and out. Has owned Rotties himself. Handles Lieber with love and understanding. Recommened by our breeder.

MINNESOTA
Dr. Jake Haffner, VetSmart Medical Team,
Waite Park, MN
(St. Cloud)
Tel: (320) 240-0018
Dr. Haffner has taken care of my Rottie, and my lab. He diagnosed fatty cysts on my Lab that others wouldn't touch. My Rottie was spayed there as well. I was impressed with their knowledge, kindness, and true concern and love for animals. They have a wonderful surgical staff, and even an anesthesiologist. They use "people" anesthesia, instead of the traditional "dog" anesthesia. This is far safer, and the dogs have a much faster and easier recovery. I've never needed stitches redone, or had a problem with infections or irritations after a surgery, unlike other places I've tried. Dr. Haffner gets down on the floor and plays with the dogs. They never notice when he is giving injections, and he's fabulous at dealing with crying Mommies!!! They really educate their clients, especially in the area of preventative care. We drive a total of 4 hours to bring our dogs there. They ADORE ALL of the staff, and that says a lot to me!

OREGON
Robert L. Cole and Chad C. Cole,
Animal Medical Clinic, 1777 Williams Highway,
Grants Pass,
Oregon, 97527
Tel: 1-541-476-8546
This is where I work, plus Dr. Cole the "elder" has been my boys' Doctor since they were born and their parents before them. They are caring, compassionate and well educated professionals. Kisses are welcomed from all patients.
Dr. Dan Fiske, Crossroads Animal hospital,
421 Caves Highway, Cave Junction, Oregon, 97523
Tel: 1-541-592-3222
Dr. Dan is well informed, caring and easy to work with. He does all my rescue dogs at cost. He's also a really great friend.

PENNSYLVANIA Dr. Adam Denish, Rhawnhurst Animal Hospital,
7405 Bustleton Avenue,
Philadelphia, PA.,
Tel: 215-333-8888
Dr. Adam Denish makes me feel amazingly comfortable and *never* is too busy to answer all of my questions to absolute satisfaction. We've brought our 3 cats to him for shots and spay/neuter and now we've brought our Rottweiler puppy who looooooves Dr. Denish because this nice vet gives him LOOOTS of kisses. He is a little expensive compared to some of the area doctors, but is worth every last penny (especially considering the butcher reputations 90% of them have). His office is clean, friendly, and is able to offer appointments in a timely manner. He apparently has an affiliation with a kennel, but we haven't had Thor long enough to see how the kennel measures up. Dr. Denish treats all animals and specializes in small and exotic animals -- he is just as comfortable with large dogs however. His associate, whose name escapes me, is also fine – owns a Rottie himself.

TEXAS
Dr. Cara Campbell, Westside Vet. Clinic, Pearland, TX 77584,
Tel: 281-485-9840
This vet is wonderful - she is the most caring person and her staff is equally as good, her prices are also good.
Wally Kraft DVM, Animal Health Center, 4200 Clarksville,
Paris, TX.,
Tel: 903-784-7387
Good, knowledgeable, through vet. Takes time to play with the animals and answer your questions. Pricey.
Lamar Vet Clinic, 3350 N.E. Loop 286, Paris, TX
Tel: 903-784-4391
Good standard vet. Also does birds and other pets. Is very cautious with the big dogs, insists on anesthesia for some routine things. Competitively priced, will carry a bill for regular clients.
  Dr. Jerry Skidmore, DVM,
Mt. Pleasant Animal Clinic,
1901 W. Ferguson, Mt. Pleasant, TX.,
Tel: 903-572-3488
Good likable vet, well informed. Only anesthesia when necessary, competitively priced.
Dr. McGee Castle, West Animal Hospital 11105 West Avenue, San Antonio, Texas, 78213
Tel: (210)344-8259
He is a fantastic doctor. He has treated my iguana before he treated Marti. He is a very down to earth person. And his personality is just amazing. He has also been featured on several morning talk shows. Yesterday though his nurse and I were having a little laugh. It was about his personality on TV...we were saying that on TV he sounds and looks so monotone and then when you meet him in person he is just a big difference. It is like watching a black and white movie on tv and then meeting your favorite actors in person...lol.. He is an amazing vet.
